Release of new SLM version 25.1.0
(SLM-2920)
- Snow License Manager 25.1.0 is now released. This version requires Snow Inventory Server 25.1.0 to be installed.
Note: Snow License Manager (SLM) v9.x and Snow Inventory Server (SIS) v6.x will be end of life December 31, 2025. Flexera is encouraging customers to either upgrade to SLM v25.1 and SIS v25.1, or migrate to Snow Atlas.

M365 user linking optimizations

- The performance of the Microsoft 365 user linking has been optimized and improved. (IOK-1358982, IOK-1356965)
Compliance
VMware vSphere updated licensing compliance
(SLM-2916)
- To align with the latest VMware subscription model introduced by Broadcom, Snow License Manager now includes enhanced compliance logic and reporting capabilities.
- License compliance is now calculated based on the new VMware subscription model, which requires a minimum of 16 cores per CPU.
- The License Compliance Summary Report is now reflecting the new core-based licensing logic, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Snow License Manager now identifies and categorizes VMware bundles in accordance with the latest Broadcom licensing structure.

Cloud Instance ID available in Snow License Manager (SNOW-I-2529)

- The Cloud Instance ID is now available in Snow License Manager to track and manage cloud assets, and to give you deeper insights into your cloud infrastructure. It will also give you improved reporting. The Cloud Instance ID is available as a selectable column:
- on the Search for computers page
- in the following reports:
- All computers
- Applications per computer
- Applications per computer and user
- Files per computer
- Cloud server reports
- Discovered assets that are not inventoried
Reports
Remove Total line from scheduled reports (SNOW-I-2497)
(SLM-2372)
- You can now remove the Total line from the scheduled reports in Snow License Manager.
- To remove it from all scheduled reports, enable the Remove “Total” line from reports setting in the Reporting and exports section of the Settings page. The change will affect all reports that are available from the Reports menu.
- To remove it from a specific scheduled report, turn on the Remove “Total” line from scheduled report toggle in the Schedule report dialog.

Auto-Connect rules based on Client configuration (SNOW-I-1440)

- For auto connect rules based on Computer/Mobile device, you can now use the new identifier Client configuration in the rule definition.
Other
Enable new fields in the agreement import template for the alerts
(SLM-3214)
- You can now add or update the Renewal, Warning, and Critical alert days of an agreement by using the Agreement import/update functionality. The following rules apply:
- If you update or add a new agreement, and you want to import values for the alert settings, the values must be a number between 0 and 999. Also, the Warning days must be greater than the Critical days.
- If you add a new agreement, and one or more of the alert values are empty (blank) in the import file, then the default values will be used: Renewal - 90 days, Warning - 90 days, Critical - 60 days.
- If you update an agreement, and one or more of the alert values are empty (blank) in the import file, then the existing values in the database will be kept.

- The All users report now shows quarantined users correctly when the language is set to German (IOK-1414992)

- The Licenses tab for Adobe applications now opens properly. (IOK-1399047)

- When you want to delete a datacenter in edit mode, the Delete datacenter/cluster dialog now closes properly. (IOK-1421866)

- The Maintenance service will no longer crash due to old temporary SQL jobs. The jobs are now removed automatically. (IOK-1431916)
SLM MSI Installer

- The SLM MSI Installer now works successfully on localized instances of Windows Server OS. (IOK-1426097)
SaaS AdobeCC
(S10-1057)
- The report All Adobe users now considers linked Snow License Manager users, and shows proper information for Name and User. (IOK-1415933)
- The report Unmanaged Adobe Creative Cloud users no longer shows users with assigned subscriptions. (IOK-1415935)

- On the All users page, the filter for the Status column now works as expected when the language is set to German. (IOK-1401972)

- MongoDB updated to version 7.0.22 and MongoDB Shell updated to version 2.5.6 to remediate Security Vulnerability CVE-2025-6707
