Compliance
VMware vSphere updated licensing compliance
(SLM-2916)
- To align with the latest VMware subscription model introduced by Broadcom, Snow License Manager now includes enhanced compliance logic and reporting capabilities.
- License compliance is now calculated based on the new VMware subscription model, which requires a minimum of 16 cores per CPU.
- The License Compliance Summary Report is now reflecting the new core-based licensing logic, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Snow License Manager now identifies and categorizes VMware bundles in accordance with the latest Broadcom licensing structure.

Cloud Instance ID available in Snow License Manager (SNOW-I-2529)

- Cloud Instance ID is now available in Snow License Manager to track and manage cloud assets and to give you deeper insights into your cloud infrastructure. This would also help you improve on the reporting
- “Cloud Instance ID” is now available as a selectable column in:
- Computer Search
- “Cloud Instance ID” is now available as a selectable column in the following reports:
- All Computers
- Applications per Computers
- Applications per Computers and Users
- Files per Computers
- Cloud Server Report
- Assets Not Inventoried Report

Reports
Remove Total line from scheduled reports (SNOW-I-2497)
(SLM-2372)
- You are able now to remove the Total line from the scheduled reports in Snow License Manager.
- You can remove the line for a specific report by enabling the checkbox on the Schedule report popup.
- You can remove the total line for all scheduled report by ticking the checkbox from the Settings of the user in the Reporting and Export section.
- The change will affect the reports that are available under the Reports menu.
