Display Multithreading status in the Computer Hardware tab
(SLM-3287)
- You can now easily check the Multithreading (Hyperthreading) status for each computer directly in the Hardware tab, alongside CPU and RAM details.
- What’s New:
- A row for Multithreading is shown to the Hardware tab in the computer details.
- In the All computers and Computer hardware information reports, and the Hardware comparison reports, you can now select Multithreading from the Column selector.
- How It Works:
- The Multithreading status can be True, False, or N/A.
**Note: Some inventory sources, such as BigFix, do not populate the Multithreading/Hyperthreading attribute.
- The Multithreading status can be True, False, or N/A.
- What’s New:
- Product dependency: This feature will not be fully functional if the latest version of Snow inventory Server 25.2.0 is not installed
License administration
Improved License Assignment tab for Assignment type user
(SLM-3271)
- For a responsive and intuitive user interface, the license assignment pages for assignment type “user” have been completely revised, in both view and edit mode. The user assignment pages have been redesigned to achieve similar consistency with other metrics/assignment types.
- The updated interface allows you to:
- Quickly search for, sort, and filter users, making it easier to find and manage license assignments.
- Select multiple users at once with new multi-select functionality, streamlining bulk actions such as editing or removing assignments.
- Identify users with invalid assignments, so that you can remove them and free up licenses for new users.
- View key user details including username, full name, and organization directly on the Assignment tab of the License details page.
Licenses
Show License ID in the License details
(SLM-3274)
- The License ID is available in the header of the License details page and on the License edit page within the user interface, allowing quick copying and easy reference for tracking license records without depending on the URL or performing extra searches.
Password Reset
Password Reset
(SLM-373)
- The password reset functionality has been redesigned to improve security, usability and compliance with best practices. With this update users now receive one-time reset link that allows them to choose a new password.
This improvement has fixed/eliminated the issue where another user can invalidate a users password.
Reports
Automatically share reports
(SLM-3273)
- You can now automatically share reports with all users, including newly onboarded employees. Users can easily share a report with all existing and newly added users, who have access to the standard report that the shared report is based on.
Custom fields in Files per computer report
(S10-864)
- Custom fields are now available in the Files per computer report. You can view, filter, and export results using the custom fields defined for computers.
Show application Full version in Applications per computer report
(SLM-3471)
- You can now add the application Full version column to the Applications per computer report. This gives you the complete version information for each software application, supporting more accurate license tracking, vulnerability detection, compliance with vendor contracts, and effective audit preparation.
- Limitations:
Application groups and application bundles are not included in this enhancement, as their versions are derived from multiple applications and a single full version cannot be calculated. This limitation is being assessed for a future release cycle.
Snow Management and Configuration Center
Advanced Authorization (OAuth 2.0) for SMTP
(S10-1126)
- Snow License Manager now supports Advanced authorization - OAuth 2.0 for sending emails via SMTP. The main reason is that the SMTP with Basic authorization (username and password) will soon be deprecated by Microsoft services. The change affects sending mails for forgotten passwords, notifications, and scheduled reports. The Basic Authorization is still supported in Snow License Manager. (IOK-1429004)
Corrections
Administration
(SLM-2674)
- When you create new items on the Computer standards and My notification pages, there is a limit of 100 characters.
Agreements
(SLM-3497)
- When importing Agreements, you can now proceed with the import even if the alert fields (Renewal, Warning, or Critical) are not mapped.
Applications
(SLM-286)
- The label Minimum requirement in the Windows Server application details page has been renamed to Minimum requirement adjustment to accurately reflect that this value represents an adjustment to the initial requirement, not the final minimum requirement.
Cloud: Adobe Creative Cloud
(S10-1176)
- Implementing a fix that properly populates the database table (on each processing of a new aggregated import) that are sources for the charts (IOK-1846682, IOK-1848519)
- The calculation of the total number of licenses displayed in the tiles on the Availability page has been updated to also include the total number of assigned licenses. This change ensures consistency with the data shown in the Availability table. (IOK-1849051)
- The Delete portal action is now affected by the DbCommandTimeoutSec appsettings value in the AdobeCC service.
Compliance exclusions
(SLM-3399)
- The tooltip in the Consumers tab now provides the intended information, ensuring that users are not presented with an empty message box.
- The License compliance summary report now shows the expected values for User exclusions.
Computers
(SLM-3504)
- Snow License Manager now correctly shows the operating system as "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server" on the computer details page and not as a bundle. Bundle components are no longer shown to end users, restoring expected behavior and improving data accuracy for reporting and compliance. (IOK-1846394)
- In the Computer details page, HTML line break tags now show properly in the Notes field. (IOK-1300816)
- To enhance the performance of the Computer details page, the underlying RsUserLicenseTracking view has been removed from the Applications tab. The system now retrieves data directly from the tblUserMetricTracking table. This change improves page load times, particularly for computers with a large number of installed applications. There is no change to the user interface or functionality.
- The organization’s delete and update stored procedures have been enhanced to update the
archive.tblComputerInfotable, replacing theorgCheckSumcolumn withrootOrgCheckSum. This improvement ensures that archived computers remain visible in both the Search for computers page and the Archived computers report. TheOrganizationHierarchyfield in thearchive.tblComputertable remains unchanged to retain historical information about the organization to which each computer was originally assigned, even if that organization has been deleted. (IOK-1846677, IOK-1844411)
- When editing multiple computers, if one or more computers are connected to a datacenter/cluster, the Disable automatic quarantine checkbox will be disabled to align with the behavior for single edit. (IOK-1860917)
Enterprise: Oracle
(OM-5071)
- The Computers where an Oracle Database might be deployed report has been updated to include the missing Oracle Database 19c Enterprise (Linux) application.
- Fixed an issue where database cleanup could fail for large environments. The process now uses batching to ensure successful deletion and improved reliability.
- Fixed an issue where estates (datacenters, servers, and virtual machines) without an associated product showed an incorrect popup on the Enterprise > Oracle Overview > Entitlements > License Assignment page. The correct message is now displayed.
Import data
(S10-1210)
- Import of BIOS serial numbers for non‑virtual computers no longer fails in automated imports. (IOK-1861568)
License compliance
(SLM-1281)
- Code is modified to prevent 'collection was modified' exception in the License Compliance service.
Maintenance service
(S10-1202)
- Implementation of more robust approach for deleting the temporary SQL agent jobs when deleting computers via the Maintenance Service (IOK-1859554, IOK-1853310)

- In the Mobile device details page, HTML line break tags now show properly in the Notes field.
Objects
(SLM-3747)
- Users without the required permissions for the Search for objects page are now redirected to a "Not authorized" page, instead of being sent to the main dashboard. (IOK-1861568)
- Object type names containing special characters are now properly shown on the Search for objects page, and when archiving agreements. (IOK-1871683)
Quarantine management
(SLM-3437)
- Organization dropdowns in Quarantine management remain accessible and usable, regardless of the length of the organization names. Users can efficiently select and manage organizations without user interface overlap or selection issues. (IOK-1835973)
- The Organization picker control will not add line breaks for longer organization names. In the picker popup, you now can scroll horizontally to see longer names.
Reports
(S10-1127)
- Improved handling of decimal and numeric custom fields during license import. When importing licenses from Excel, custom fields of type decimal or numeric are now stored as NULL instead of an empty string in the database. This change prevents errors that could occur when the system tries to convert an empty value into a number, ensuring smoother and more reliable imports. (IOK-1430864, IOK-1417562)
- The All reports page no longer relies on cached data. This ensures that the report always pulls the correct columns and sorting instead of using potentially outdated cache values. (IOK-1323766)
- Recipients now receive only one message per scheduled report, as intended. (IOK-1336075, IOK-1328349)
- To avoid time discrepancies, local time has been replaced by universal time zone in the report scheduler. (IOK-1357801)
- Resolved an issue where using Add Group or Add Criteria and selecting Show Report caused the grouped column to be automatically added to the data grid. The data grid now remains unchanged unless explicitly modified by the user.
- In the Compliance exclusions for users report, the Full name, Principle name, and Status columns now appear correctly.
- Reports with more than three grouped columns are no longer disordered when you navigate back to the report, or return after editing report data
