Corrections​

  • From now on, users can correctly, modify the configuration file attributes (SiteName, ConfigName and EndPointAddress) during MSI package installation when a user needs to elevate to administrative context. Packages relying on that feature need to be recreated with the Package Builder on Snow Atlas.

  • Package Builder on Snow Atlas now verifies that the uploaded configuration file is valid XML and rejects files that are not to prevent the creation of broken Inventory Agents.

  • It is now possible to select all items for bulk downloads and bulk deletions.
  • It is now possible to sort the table by all columns, except “Platform”, “Checksum” and “Package Specifications”.
  • It is now possible to filter by “User Name”, “Agent Version” and “Package Id”
  • The Column filters in “Platform”, “Package Specification”, “Package Status” were enhanced to provide a list of elements, instead of a free text filter.

  • The Snow Inventory Oracle Scanners Install Tools Repository Scripts are now available. They provide tools to simplify scheduling and dry-running Snow Inventory Oracle Scanner, Snow Inventory Java Scanner, Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner and Snow Inventory Oracle Hardware scanner.   • The time period after which agent packages are deleted from Package Builder on Snow Atlas has been reduced from 30 days to 7 days. This affects only new created packages.

Corrections​

  • From now on, new created Snow Inventory Agent for Linux packages for rpm based distributions will populate the .hst.lg file with a correct timestamp during the agent installation, and as a result, the Snow Inventory Agent for Linux now reports the correct installation date. (04760417).

  • Depending on the selected product version, the available scripts will now be filtered.

  • A misconfiguration in attached services lead to changed file endings in already signed powershell scripts, thereby invalidating the signature. All Snow Inventory Agent for Windows 7 packages created between 2024-02-08 and 2024-02-09 14:30 UTC including PowerShell scripts must be recreated. (04762786).

  • The Removes invalid Uninstall regkey entries for the SnowAgent / ScanAgentcleanup.snow-ps1 script has been deprecated. The script removed old registry keys for Version 5.0, 5.3 and 6.0 of Snow Inventory Agent for Windows.

  • The Discovers details from Autodesk License files, used in Products before 2016 / scan-autodesklicfiles.snow-ps1 script has been deprecated.

  • The Discovers details about Microsoft Visio 2010 / scan-visio2010.snow-ps1 script has been deprecated.
