Enhancements​

  • The cloud application metering browser extension for Firefox now uses Manifest v3.
    • To comply with Mozilla’s add-on policies, a data collection consent dialog has been added to the on-boarding flow of the browser extension.
    • The managed storage parameter “consentgiven” was added and is set to ‘true’ as part of the browser extension installation, to hide the consent dialog.

Mozilla Firefox`s Manifest v3 treats the required host_permissions to “read all websites” as optional, so the end user can disable it.
