Information

The Snow Inventory Script Repository (SISR) is a set of scripts that enhances the data gathered by Snow Inventory agents. Currently, SISR is only applicable to the Windows agent. All the PowerShell scripts contained in the script repository are digitally signed by Snow to prevent malicious modification or execution.

The following five PowerShell scripts are always included by default when you request MSI packages from Snow Support:

  • Adobe Acrobat Edition 1.2.0
    The scan-AdobeAcrobatReg.snow-ps1 script gathers additional details for Adobe Acrobat DC Subscriptions.
  • Autodesk products information 3.1.0
    The scan-autodesk.snow-ps1 script gathers details from the registry and Autodesk licensing files in the file system regarding installed Autodesk products, to determine if a network license is needed, for example.
  • Microsoft Office products information 1.4.0
    The scan-msinfo.snow-ps1 script gathers data for Office 2019, Office365, and MSDN installed applications.
  • Microsoft SQL Server editions and versions 1.4.0
    The scan-microsoft-SQLServer.snow-ps1 script scans for SQL Server related information, such as version, edition, instance name, and if the instance is running or stopped.
  • Toad database developer products 2.0.2
    The scan-toad.snow-ps1 script scans for Toad Database Developer products (from Quest Software) and includes them in the scan result.

Please note that if you request the Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner option, your MSI package will also include:

  • Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner Launcher 1.4.0
    The Scan-SIOMSLauncher.snow-ps1 finds Java installations and launches the Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner.

And if you request the Snow Inventory Java Scanner option, your MSI will also include:

  • Snow Inventory Java Scanner Launcher 1.1.0
    The Scan-SIJSLauncher.snow-ps1 finds Java installations and launches the Snow Inventory Java Scanner.

And if you request the Snow Inventory Hardware Scanner option, your MSI will also include:

  • Snow Inventory Oracle Hardware Scanner Launcher 1.1.0
    The Scan-SIOHWSLauncher.snow-ps1 finds Java installations and launches the Snow Inventory Hardware Scanner.
