Manage mobile devices

Learn how to manage your mobile devices in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.

View mobile devices​

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Computers, select Mobile devices.

  2. Find and select the mobile devices you want to view the details for. For more information on how to filter, sort, and group the list of content, see Manage lists.

Export mobile device information​

You can export information from, for example, a list or a search result in the SAM Core user interface. Available file formats are CSV, PDF, XLS/XLSX, and XML.

  1. In a list or search result, select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page.

  2. Select Export, and then select your preferred file format for the export.

    The export will be available as a downloaded file in your web browser.

Edit mobile devices​

You can edit a single mobile device or several mobile devices at the same time. However, when you have selected to edit several mobile devices, you can only edit a subset of the information on the mobile devices.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Computers, select Mobile devices.

  2. Select one or several mobile devices you want to edit.

  3. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Edit mobile devices.

  4. Add or edit the applicable information.

  5. Select Save.

tip

You can also edit a single mobile device by selecting Edit mobile device on the details page of the mobile device.

Delete mobile devices​

caution

When a mobile device is deleted, it is removed from the system and cannot be restored.

You can delete a single mobile device or several mobile devices at the same time.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Computers, select Mobile devices.

  2. Select one or several mobile devices you want to delete.

  3. Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Delete mobile devices.

  4. Select OK to confirm.

tip

You can also delete a single mobile device by first selecting Edit mobile device on the details page of the mobile device, and then selecting Delete.
