Manage application denylist
Learn how to manage the application denylist in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.
View applications on the denylist
- On the SAM Core menu, under Home, select Administration.
- Select Application denylist.
- Select the Applications (result) tab.
Add applications to the denylist
You can manually add applications to the denylist.
- On the SAM Core menu, select Applications.
- Select the name of the application you want to add to the denylist.
- On the details page of the application, select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Denylist application.
- Select OK to confirm.
The information message Denylisted appears on the details page of the application.
Remove applications from the denylist
- On the SAM Core menu, under Home, select Administration.
- Select Application denylist.
- On the Criteria tab and in the table row of the application you want to remove, select Delete.
- Select OK to confirm.
Add criteria for the application denylist
You can specify criteria to automatically identify applications and add them to the denylist. For field descriptions, see Application denylist: Reference.
- On the SAM Core menu, under Home, select Administration.
- Select Application denylist.
- On the Criteria tab, select Add criteria.
- Select Criteria type in the list.
- Enter the Criteria. Use % as a wildcard character to include several applications with common names or types.
EXAMPLE

- Optionally, enter a Comment.
- Optionally, select the specific Organization nodes that the denylist criteria applies to.
note
If you do not select an organization node, the criteria will apply to the entire organization.
- Select Save.

- Select Application denylist.
- On the Criteria tab and in the table row of the criteria you want to remove, select Delete.
- Select OK to confirm.
