Manage single sign-on providers
Learn how to manage single sign-on providers. To enable single sign-on, you must add and enable at least one provider. For the Snow Atlas configuration requirements specific to your selected provider, refer to the relevant section provided.
Add SSO providers

On the Snow Atlas settings menu, under Account management, select Security.

Select Add single sign-on provider.

Do one of the following:

Select the provider that your organization has subscribed to, and then select Continue.

To create a generic SSO configuration for a provider that is not supported through a first party integration, select Generic configuration, and then select Continue.

In Setup, enter the settings required for the selected provider.
For more information on the settings specific to your selected provider, refer to the relevant section provided.

Optional: Select Enable user provisioning:

If you select Enable user provisioning, users are automatically provisioned in your tenant.

If Enable user provisioning is disabled, the email address entered must match the email used when the user was added to Snow Atlas.

In Enable, select to enable the SSO provider, or to add the SSO provider without enabling it:

If you have configured and consented to the Snow Atlas application registration, select Enable the SSO provider, and then select Finish.

If you have not yet configured and consented to the Snow Atlas application registration, select Finish.
In Authentication, the provider is listed and shown as Enabled or Disabled according to your configuration in step 6.

We recommend that you ensure that your SSO provider setup works correctly by trying the following test scenarios:

One user with an active session updates and enables the SSO provider configuration. Another user tries to sign in.

One user with an active session updates and enables the SSO provider configuration. The same user signs in from a different browser without an active session.
Enable or disable SSO providers
You can only have one provider enabled at a time.
If you want to disable a provider, before you proceed, see Disable single sign-on.

On the Security page, select the three dots for the provider that you want to enable or disable, and then select Enable or Disable.

Confirm to enable or disable the SSO provider. Do one of the following:

If you select Enable in step 1:
In Enable single sign-on, if you have configured and consented to the Snow Atlas application registration, select Enable the SSO provider, and then select Save.

If you select Disable in step 1:
In Disable single sign-on, select Disable SSO.
In Authentication, the provider is listed and shown as Enabled or Disabled according to your configuration.

Edit SSO providers

On the Security page, select the three dots for the provider that you want to edit, and then select Edit.
In Edit single sign-on, the settings for the SSO provider appear, where you can make changes.
For more information on the settings specific to your selected provider, refer to the relevant section provided.

Make the changes, and then select Save.
Delete SSO providers
If you want to delete an SSO provider, it must be disabled. For more information, see Enable or disable SSO providers.

On the Security page, select the three dots for the provider that you want to delete, and then select Delete.

In Delete single sign-on, select Confirm.
The SSO provider is removed from Authentication , and Password authentication is enabled.
