    3. In Terms and conditions, type the link to the terms and conditions for the manufacturer.

  6. Select Save.

  7. If you have entered a manufacturer name that matches an already existing manufacturer globally provided by the DIS, you will be notified by a Duplicate warning where you can select to reuse that manufacturer. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to reuse the global manufacturer:

      1. Select Yes.

      2. In Global manufacturers, select the manufacturer you want to reuse from the list of matched manufacturer names, and then select Add local copy.

A local copy of the global manufacturer appears in the list on the Manufacturers tab.
You can delete the local copy from your Private Application Catalogue, but you cannot edit it.

    • If you do not want to reuse the global manufacturer, but instead want to create a duplicate of the global one, select No.

A duplicate of the global manufacturer appears in the list on the Manufacturers tab.

      caution

A consequence of duplicate manufacturers is that they will be reflected in the reports in SAM Core on Snow Atlas, as the reports group the installations and metrics of the applications by the duplicate manufacturers.
